Direct from it’s hugely successful season in London’s West End at the Trafalgar Studios and it’s sold out run at the 2010 Edinburgh Festival Fringe where it received 5 star reviews, Streisand – The Main Event is a musical celebration of the life, career and music of the greatest female recording artist of all time, Barbra Streisand.

Lisa Faye takes the audience on a musical journey through a collection of songs that Streisand brought to life with her unique style and interpretation. From her first intimately recorded standard, You’ll Never Know through to award winning films like, Funny Girl and No 1 hits such as Woman In Love as well as including some lesser known gems along the way. Lisa Faye delivers the songs expertly, interjected with fun, entertaining and interesting anecdotes about Streisand and her music. As an added feature Lisa Faye wears one of Barbra Streisand’s original dresses too!

Lisa Faye made her debut solo performance in London’s West End when she performed her show, ‘Streisand -- The Main Event’, as part of the ‘Live From The Studios’ Season at Ambassador Theatre Groups, Trafalgar Studio’s in February 2011, along with other west end stars such as Julie Atherton and Daniel Boys. February 19, 26, March 5 2011

Lisa Faye performed her show, ‘Streisand -- The Concert’ at last years Edinburgh Fringe Festival, 2010 with sell out shows and 5* reviews! -- Here is the review from The New Current (click on the link)

The show has been a huge success with celebrities coming along to see the show too! Whilst at the festival Lisa Faye secured guest spots on Mervyn Stutters show, ‘Pick of The Fest’ opening his final show with a medley of songs from Funny Girl, and also was asked to sing on Jim Bowen’s show and had to throw 9 darts!
