Lisa Faye is bringing her show, ‘Streisand – The Main Event’ back to Hampshire on Saturday 22nd June 2013 less than 8 miles from where the show was first seen back in 2009. The Grosvenor Hotel, Stockbridge has invited Lisa Faye to perform her show on an evening of fine dining.

Lisa Faye will be fresh from performing the show at this years Brighton Fringe and is looking forward to bring the show back to Hampshire!

Excellent Exam Results!

Well Done to my students who have all passed their piano and theory exams with Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music with flying colours.

One student taking his very first piano exam, Grade 1 received a fantastic 92% earning him a well deserved Distinction, the top mark that you can receive.

The exams were taken in Winchester, Hampshire as part of the Spring Session of examinations.

Lisa Faye has just been interviewed by Phil Tufnell for tomorrow nights edition of BBC’s The One Show. They are talking about Barbra Streisand and her new tour announcement! Yes she is coming back to the UK on June 1st. Barbra is quoted as saying ‘never say never’ and her she is returning to our shores to perform once again……see what Phil and Lisa Faye think about it tomorrow at 7pm BBC 1.

The 5678 Choir

The 5678 Choir is to continue! After such a great response to the initial trial sessions of The 5678 Choir back in February I am delighted to announce that the choir will meet on a regular basis from April 10th! We aim to meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 7.45pm – 8.45pm, Victoria Hall, Sutton Scotney, Winchester.

Singing is great fun and is proven to be good for your well being too, so the emphasis of The 5678 Choir is to have FUN! We will be learning and singing fabulous songs from popular music to musical theatre, sorry no classical music here and anyone can join. There will be no auditions and no previous music knowledge is needed either. Come along and have fun!

ABRSM Piano Exams

Students of 5678 Music Education in Winchester have their Piano Exams this Friday, so we are wishing them lots of luck – they deserve to do very well as they have worked and practiced very hard! Piano examinations are taken with the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music, which are a world renowned exam body in music.

Lisa Faye’s Music School, 5678 Music Education, was established back in 2000 with the motto Making Learning Fun, teaching Piano and Singing initially in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire and now in Winchester, Hampshire. Lisa Faye is known as Lisa Faye Broadhead to her students.

Wonston Fete

Lisa Faye will once again be serenading visitors to this years Wonston Fete on Saturday 13th July. There will be all the family stalls where you can buy local produce, win a bottle on the raffle or hook a duck! Whilst all this is going on Lisa Faye will be singing a selection of songs from Jazz to Pop!

Gratton Festival

After the huge success of ‘Jubilee on the Gratton’ last year, the event is to be repeated again on June 29th as The Gratton Festival! Last year over 2500 people came along to The Gratton, in Sutton Scotney and enjoyed games, stalls, the pram race and an evening concert including Lisa Faye, Kirkcarrion, Step OnThe Gas and Badge to name only a few of the acts.

Lisa Faye will once agin be performing in the evening concert which once again promise’s to be the highlight of the day with music throughout the day from Blue Grass to Pop and Rock n Roll. Tickets for the whole festival are only £3 each…what a bargain! All proceeds will go back to The Gratton to improve the space for the future! More details can be found at The Gratton Website
