Lisa Faye has provided entertainment for several Rotary clubs over the past few years and it is a great pleasure to be able to now be singing  for the Inner Wheel.

Lisa Faye has been asked to perform her 5* sell out show about the music of Barbra Streisand by The Mayor of Eastleigh – Alison Caplin with all proceeds going to the Mayors Charities which are HCPT Group 170 – a Christian group which takes life limited children to Lourdes for Easter  and also Age Concern.

What a great show last night at Mayflower Theatre’s Roof Top Restaurant Ovation. The evening was a sell out and the diners enjoyed my show Streisand -The Main Event during the evening, as South Pacific were setting up in the main theatre. Thank you Southampton for such a wonderful evening.

Well here we are in 2012, Happy New Year to you all, and here’s to a great year! 2012 is already panning out as a busy year for me  - I will be performing on three cruises with Fred Olsen throughout the year and continuing to tour the UK with my show ‘Streisand – The Main Event’ – visiting Radlett, Hedge End and my own home town Doncaster! 2012 is an especially important year for Barbra Streisand where she will celebrate her 70th birthday and 40 years in the entertainment industry!

January kicks off with a sell out show at Ovation, Mayflower Theatre in Southampton on Monday 16th January, where I will be performing my show, ‘Streisand – The Main Event’ for diners at Ovation. I have already performed my Diva’s show for South Wonston OAP Club earlier this week and what a lovely afternoon of songs made famous by our greatest Diva’s Ella Fiztgerald, Judy Garland, Doris Day and Shirley Bassey, all topped off with a cup of tea and a sandwich. Perfect!

This event has become a fixture in the Christmas calender with Lisa Faye performing favourite Christmas songs and Carols for you to sing a long to. There is always the famous Wonston Arms – Twelve Days of Christmas…who gets ‘Five Gold Rings’?

Song sheets will be provided, as well as lots of fun and festive spirit. Start your Christmas festivities this Sunday with the best Christmas Sing A Long in Hampshire around the roaring fire at The Wonston Arms.

Last week saw the show sell out over the 4 shows with extra dates added due to the high demand, especially after last years sell out success of Aladdin!

Lisa Faye also played a small cameo role…or her self at the Palace Ball, singing, ‘Dont’ Stop Believing’ as Cinderella and The Prince dance together.

The show was a huge success and the comments have been fantastic, thank you to everyone involved!

Lisa Faye will be singing several times during the 2 weeks cruise around the Western Mediterranean Sea and is so looking forward to returning to the high seas and taking her show to sea!

Katie Martin has followed Lisa Faye and her show, ‘Streisand – The Main Event’ since it’s success at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2010, it’s west end debut at London’s Trafalgar Studios and now ahead of it’s tour which commences at The Theatre Royal, Winchester, Hampshire on Thursday 13th October.
