Lisa Faye has been invited to sing in Winchester’s Great Hall, which houses the Round Table, by The Mayor of Winchester Cllr Barry Lipscomb on Wednesday 25 April.

‘SHOWTIME’ is an evening of musical hits from the West End and Broadway with music from Lisa Faye, Winchester Youth Orchestra and The Dever Singers. The evening is in aid of the Mayor’s Charities – Winchester Cancer Research Trust, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and The Rifles Care for Casualties Appeal.

Winchester’s Great Hall is the first and finest of all 13th century halls of medieval England and would have been the heart of Winchester Castle where the King dined , discussed affairs of State and sat court. The Round Table for centuries was believed to have been that of King Arthur, but was actually constructed in the late 13th century.
