Famous dresses worn by Barbra Streisand in Hello Dolly and Funny Girl are up for auction. Debbie Reynolds has put some of her amazing Hollywood costumes up for auction and they include the fabulous gold threaded Hello Dolly dress and roller skating costumes form Funny Girl.
The costumes going up for auction on June 18 also include Marilyn Monroe’s famous white dress expected to go for $1,000,000 and Dorothy’s Red Shoes and blue smock from The Wizard of Oz as worn by Judy Garland. Other costumes from films include, Charlie Chaplins bowler hat, suits of Laurel and Hardy and many more. Debbie Reynolds a Hollywood superstar in her own right wanted to make a museum of her collection but is now having to part with it so others can share in its splendor. Lots also include those from her films including, ‘Singing In The Rain’.
